I would rather see WordPress get more stable than it already is and more bugs get squashed than to see new features in 2.6. It's not important enough for me to install a plugin, but I'd like to see the Admin Panel more customizable. Currently we can expand or collapse each section, but how about making the sections "draggable" so we can choose the ordering we want? Huge annoyance to go back and forth from mouse to keyboard :) It'd be nice to be able to change the order of modules on the write page - like the ability to move the post author section up etc. I need to start a wish list...
