There are all sorts of WordPress themes available for anyone to download at no charge, but none are as popular or have spawned so many versions as the wildly popular K2 WordPress theme, which was created by Michael Heilemann, Chris J Davis and Zeo, based on the original Kubrick theme. As a result, I decided to dedicate an entire post to cover some of the best K2 theme styles and modifications available for download.

4-Column WordPress Theme Gallery
In previous posts I featured some of my favorite 2-column WordPress themes, as well as 3-column WordPress themes. Those will likely get the most attention, but I’ve found that there are several bloggers out there that really enjoy 4-column themes. If done properly, a 4-column theme can move a lot more stuff above the fold while at the same time give your blog a fantastic look.
Some WordPress theme designers are truly talented and have managed to make these work, so I’ve decided to create a large collection of these themes and throw them out there in all their glory for everyone to see. Here is my compilation of my favorite 4-column WordPress themes:

3-Column WordPress Themes Gallery

While most full time bloggers seem to use and prefer 2-column WordPress themes, there is no doubt that 3-column themes are definitely more popular among the WordPress blogger masses. This can be attributed to many things, but the most appealing thing seems to be the ability to place more sidebar stuff above the fold on your blog. This can help you better monetize your blog by allowing more room for advertisements, subscription buttons, and other important sidebar content that needs to be seen by your readers.
This post is designed to be a spot to collect screen shots and download information about my favorite 3-column WordPress themes that have been made available to the WordPress community. I decided to avoid displaying any themes that cost money, and I’ve tried to include additional information about the theme then possible, including if it is widget ready or SEO friendly, etc.:

2-Column WordPress Themes Gallery

I have always been of the opinion that WordPress 2-column themes give your site a much better look than 3-column themes, and I think if you look around the blogosphere at what most full time bloggers use, you will see that these people tend to find the most success with 2-column themes.

Best WordPress Plugins
One of the things that separates WordPress from other blogging software out there is the fact that it is open source, and the benefits that go along with being open source. If you aren’t very good at coding, or good with PHP in particular, then the WordPress community has come to the rescue with WordPress plugins, which will allow just about anyone to easily add additional functionality to their blog. With the free WordPress plugins that various authors write and contribute from around the globe, WordPress has gained a lot of flexibility, causing it to be more attractive to potential bloggers.
As this site is dedicated to WordPress, I thought it would be a good idea to have a featured post dedicated to the best WordPress plugins available. This post is a constant work in progress, and will continue to be updated as I feature more plugins on this website. After each plugin, you should find a quick description, as well as a link to the full review. I have also broken the plugins down into categories for easy reference.
